Managing your Product Key

When you buy RowPro in the Online Store at www.digitalrowing.com, Digital Rowing issues a RowPro Product Key and stores it in your Customer Profile in the Customer Center at www.digitalrowing.com.

You can retrieve this Product Key anytime and use it to activate RowPro in a single PC. To ensure it is only used in one PC at a time, when you activate RowPro the Serial Number of the target PC must be provided to the Activation Server, which then links the Product Key with that Serial Number. The result is that the Product Key will only work in the PC that has that Serial Number.

Rebuilding your PC

If you need to rebuild your PC, if possible Deactivate RowPro first. See The Activation Manager Help Topic for step-by-step instructions. If you are unable to Deactivate RowPro, for example because your PC crashed completely, contact assist@digitalrowing.com for assistance.

Moving RowPro to a new PC

You can easily move RowPro to another PC.  To do this:

Download RowProSetup.exe from www.digitalrowing.com/download into the new PC and run it.  This will install the latest version of RowPro in the new PC.

NOTE: If you particularly want to install an earlier version of RowPro, you will find links to these at www.digitalrowing.com/download.

Deactivate RowPro in the old PC.  To do this, start RowPro, click the down arrow next to Help on the RowPro main menu, click the Maintenance tab, and click Deactivate RowPro.  This sends your RowPro Product Key back to the activation server at www.digitalrowing.com.
Activate RowPro in the new PC the same way you originally activated RowPro in the old PC.

Using RowPro in two PCs at once

If you want to use RowPro in two PCs at once, you need to purchase a second Product Key. Please contact assist@digitalrowing.com for assistance.

 

You can check the status of your Product Key by visiting the Customer Center at www.digitalrowing.com, where you will need to use your Login and Password to gain access to your customer profile.

You can also check the status of your Product Key in RowPro by opening the Control Center / System Settings page and clicking About RowPro.
