Training via the PM3 LogCard

You can row your RowPro training plan sessions without using RowPro by saving them on a PM3 LogCard and later setting them up directly from the LogCard onto a PM3, for example using a PM3 in a gym when you're away from home.

Here are the steps:

Preparation

Using RowPro, save up to 5 training plan sessions on a PM3 LogCard. See the PM3 LogCard Utility Help Topic for details. If you need to save more than 5 training plan sessions, you can use more LogCards. Also, print out the relevant Session Specs.

Selection

When it's time to row, insert your LogCard into a PM3, row your warm-up, and then select the session you're scheduled to row from the list of Favorites on the PM3 display. To see the list of Favorites, press Select Workout / Favorites on the PM3.

Rowing

Get the Session Spec for the session you plan to row and place it on the floor next to the Indoor Rower. Row your training session by keeping your heartrate and SPM within the target bands listed on the Session Spec. Row your warm-down.  Your results will be automatically saved on your PM3 LogCard. Remember to take your PM3 LogCard out of the PM3 when you've finished and take it with you!

Results

When you get back to RowPro, connect your PM3 to RowPro and insert your LogCard into your PM3. Use the PM3 LogCard Utility to load your results from your LogCard into your Digital Rowing Log. Note that your warm-up and warm-down will be separate rows on your LogCard.
