Viewing RowPro documents in your iPad

You can view both PDF and ePub versions of the RowPro documents in your iPad. Here's how:

1. Download direct into iPad

If you're using the Safari web browser in your iPad to visit the Digital Rowing Documents page, click one of the document links to download the document direct into your iPad.

When the download is complete:

Tap the Open in "iBooks" button. iBooks will open and the document will appear on the iBooks Library bookshelf and will open automatically.

2. Transfer into iPad via iTunes

If you're using a web browser in your PC or Mac to visit the Digital Rowing Documents page, clicking one of the document links downloads the document into the Downloads folder in your PC or Mac.

When the download is complete, you can load the document into your iPad as follows:

Once that's done you can open iBooks on your iPad and view the downloaded document.

Note if the file was a PDF you will need to select the PDF Collection by tapping the Collections button at the top left of the iBooks Library.

PDF or ePub?

The iBooks Library has one Collection for ePub documents and a separate Collection for PDF documents. You can switch between Collections by tapping the Collections button at the top left of the iBooks Library.

In iBooks you are likely to prefer to view ePub documents because these enable you to use the full features of the iBooks app.

In a PC or Mac you're more likely to prefer to view PDF documents because you can use the free Adobe Reader app which is very likely already installed in your computer.
